Here's another set from earlier this year - very thematically crafted - and the sort of music you don't normally hear anywhere (as far as Go-Go is concerned I've never heard anyone else play pure go-go swing anywhere outside DC area).

Included in the set are some super rare versions, some unreleased stuff etc.
Mixed on Denon DN X 1700 of my own, the decks were club based (rentals or owed I don't know.

Early set, 9:00-12:00, a sort of a worm up gig - afterwards came a disco house guy mostly at odds with this set.

By the way, make no mistake, this is straight discoid 4/4 set.

This was actually recorded at ODISSEA FUN CITY in Northern Italy, while the file carries Danzatoria title.
It's just my error when tagging and designating live sets, and since I keep a shitload you've got errors taking place.



Basically this was recorded this year. The venue was this pretty cool looking club, and I got paid a 4 figure sum (fuck yeah).
Since the crowd was very knowledgeable, they showed a distinct distaste for modern day DJ-ing distortion techniques,
so I instinctively stopped doing it.

The mix was carefully pre-planned and constructed (track order, lossless file prep, but mixing itself was improvised as normal.
I had the comfort of that since the order as for a Latin spiced set agreed beforehand with the guys who run the program.

This is a full set, 3 hours long (180 min or just under that), and I did hve a reserve back-up playlist for another hour (60 min)

The middle section features a 15 minute Afro-Latin break. It's solid, pumping steadily at around 130 BPM.
Since this is a live recording listening to it outside the context of it's club setting with audience might lead you to dicover some elements unreasonable (e.g. shifts in output volume, reverbing, polyrhythmic beat-matching etc...)


So, all in all, just another day at the office.

By the way, the chick on th pic is none other then Eva Angelina (adult model and undisputed blow-job queen).
