PIED PIPER - Disco Placebo (PROJECT)

PIED PIPER - Disco Placebo (Original Solo Mix) 15:56
Mix No. 3
320 kbps from WAV Original
2009
Produced and Mixed by Pied Piper
Engineered by PP & DM
External Instruments by Pied Piper
Moog Minimoog Voyager Rack Mount Monophonic Synthesizer
Moog Prodigy Analog Synthesizer (Keyboard)
Drum Programming and Sequencing - Pied Piper
Includes Samples from:
Get On The Funk Train by Munich Machine (Casablanca Records)
Love Attacks Again by Ferrara (Siamese Records)
Disco Inferno by The Trammps (Atlantic Records)
Fat synth bass comes from vintage analog Moog Prodigy, which is just what is says, a freakin' prodigy. Took me a couple of hours to tune and synthesise a line this fat. It was recorded live over the mix and it's so fat it obliterates Moroder's modest moog.
The mixdown was done via Minimoog Voyager controlled directly, i.e. input audio mix was mixed through the moog via mixer.
To show you the idea of the sheer power of the moog I left the solo pulse for 2 minutes in the outro, and I'll tell you, it's trully orgasmic knocking the windows out of the frame.

Even the most die-hard disco fanatics must inevitable for brief spells tire of all those cheesy-pleasy strings and want to get down and get their hands bloody dirty in some real world trash deep raw funk from both sides of the ocean.
Well, if you do, than this one is for you. Any funk fun would know what I mean just by looking at the playlist.
And for those disco ultras, there's a steady driving kick drum beat pumping in the background for 2 hours, but it's the funk that's the workhorse of this baby... @ 1000 brake horse power.....
